Our Beliefs

  • We believe that the Bible, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21, is the verbally inspired, preserved, and infallible Word of God. We believe that the King James Bible is God’s preserved word for today and serves as the ultimate authority in our daily lives.
  • We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three were active in creation. Jesus Christ, the Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully man. He died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in Him and place their faith and trust on Him are justified solely by His grace and through His shed blood. The Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal in nature to God the Father and God the Son. As stated in 1 John 5:7, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
  • We believe in Eternal Security, affirming that all true believers, having been born again into the family of God, possess everlasting life, will never perish, and are eternally secure in Christ Jesus.
  • The Local Church is the body and espoused bride of Christ, composed solely of born-again individuals. The establishment and continuation of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. The two ordinances of the local church are:
  • Baptism, which serves as an outward sign of an inward change. Immersion is the only scriptural mode of baptism and is intended for believers only (Acts 8:36-39).
  • The Lord’s Supper, which is a memorial rather than a sacrament. Believers are commanded to observe it as stated in 1 Corinthians 11:25: “…this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”
  • The Great Commission mandates that believers are ordained by God to share the gospel with the world. As stated in John 15:16, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.” We are called to “Go Ye” as instructed in Matthew 28:19: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…” and in Mark 16:15: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
  • We believe in the personal, pre-tribulation rapture of the church and the imminent, pre-millennial return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
